Seniors Consider College

Seniors Daniel N. and Vanessa H. are 4.00 G.P.A. students.  They both rank in the top 10 percent of the  2019 class. Each are putting in all the hard work for many different reasons, whether it’s for themselves or to honor their families.

“I want to be a successful woman and be able to travel the world,” senior Vanessa said, while Daniel said, “ I just want to be able to provide for my family and give back to them.”

Daniel has applied to four colleges, The University of Stanford, Rice University, The University of Oklahoma, and The University of Chicago. 

“The University of Oklahoma accommodates me the most, in terms of proximity to home and family,” Daniel said.

Daniel plans on going to college for four years and possibly earning his masters degree in Computer Science.

Vanessa is looking at two colleges to further her education. She has narrowed it down to The University of Oklahoma or The University of Stanford in California. She is hoping to study Biomedical Engineering, but is still undecided.
