“Midtown is full of aesthetically pleasing places to eat and shop. It’s such a fun area to be in when you’re hanging out with your friends.” senior Amaya said.

Midtown is located in the business district of downtown OKC with unique restaurants, activities, stores, and fun filled events throughout the year. It continues to grow as more and more people come out to experience all of the exciting events that take place. Restaurants like Packard’s, Waffle Champion, and 1492 Latin Cuisine. Foods include tamales, cheesecake mousse, and Tonkotsu are served throughout the restaurants.

In October there is an Industry Flea, an opportunity to purchase vintage items from various shops in the heart of Midtown. There is a Midtown Walkabout where local businesses are given recognition and have giveaways for attendees. Other events are the Food Truck Festival and Holiday Pop-Up Shops in December.

A day in Midtown might include a visit to the gym or the Midtown Mutts Dog Park.  Other opportunities are the Brushed Salon, Dust Bowl Lanes and Lounge, and 405 Yoga.

Surrounding Midtown, is Automobile Alley, the Asian District and Downtown with several dining and shopping venues. These include The Hatch, The Red Cup, and Bricktown Candy Company. 

It has such an artsy aspect, which makes it so diverse from the other towns and its uniqueness.
