WESTMOORE HIGH SCHOOL – Westmoore finished their season with a record of five wins and five losses. A decent season was not what the Jags were hoping for when the season started. The vision they had was being playoff bound. “I just feel like there wasn’t enough all around effort.” senior linebacker Muhammad Q. said.

Westmoore started the year 2-0 and City Champs, but the schedule wasn’t going get any easier. They suffered their first loss when they hit the road against Mustang 21-14. Westmoore bounced back to win two straight games as they defeated Enid in a 50-35 dogfight. They knocked out Edmond Memorial 37-6, but were train wrecked by Broken Arrow 69-10. Westmoore got their final win of the season beating the Yukon Millers 35-14.  This left their record at 5-2 and playoff hopes were starting to become a reality, but sadly the Jags would suffer three straight losses to Edmond Santa Fe, Norman, and Jenks leaving Westmoore outside the playoffs.

Muhammad Q. continued, “I felt like if we all played together maybe there would have been a different outcome.” Jaguars head football coach Lorenzo Williams, known as Coach Zo, finished his second season at Westmoore with a career record 13-8.
