It was a double win for Cross Country with sophomore Eva Tice and senior Elijah White at the 14th Moore War Run on August 27. They each won their divisions and walked away with gold medals; Tice finished with a time of 20:38m and White finished with 16:28m. Tice and White have continued to push the limits throughout the cross-country season. Tice finished 22nd at the state meet with a time of 19:47.7 and White finished 7th with a time of 15:47.4. “Running is my passion. It is a gift I have been blessed with by God. Not using the gift he has given me would be silly. It is one of the best things in the world and makes me feel like I’m on top of the world,” White said.
